An ellipse can be drawn using three methods. As shown here, the ellipse is being drawn using a rectangle as an extent definition mechanism. If you use this mode of ellipse construction, the resulting entity will sit square on the vertical and horizontal plane. The start point in this case was in the upper left. Note the prompt giving the measurements in each plane along with a radian.
